Research into inter oral guards has shown these devises can produce sore spots in the mouth which could lead to ulcers. These types of products are also intrusive and without proper sterilising can lead to bacteria related infections. Chin straps are again intrusive and most users find they dislodge during normal sleep movements. Using the technology applied in breathe right strips, Snoreseal approaches the problem using an adhesive pad. The pad fixes to the upper and lower lips allowing free movement of the tongue and no intrusion into the mouth. Between the pads is a patented baffle designed to open slightly allowing free breathing but stops the jaw from dropping. Snoreseal is highly effective,being disposable negates the hygiene problems.
