2and7 Limited ANNOUNCES enlargement of refurbishing scheme to include businesses and individuals

CHESTERFIELD, July 2010— Previously, 2and7’s status as Community Approved Refurbishers allowed them to supply community organisations, charities and not for profit organisations with refurbished computers, donated by local businesses and individuals. However, 2and7 have taken advantage of changes to Microsoft’s refurbishing programme to now offer refurbished computers to businesses and home users.
To reflect the differing level of resources available, there are now two separate licences – commercial for businesses and home users, citizenship licences for charities, etc – with differential pricing.
2and7 are able to offer refurbished machines with a choice of Microsoft Windows XP operating systems and Microsoft Office 2007. Whilst they may be a couple of years old, such machines are perfect for small office automation tasks, for a first computer for a pupil/student and for any user who needs something small and efficient for emailing, web browsing and word processing/spreadsheets.
2and7 are happy to receive older computers from individuals or companies, who can specify whether the items(s) should be used solely by not for profit groups or are available to the general public and businesses. Depending upon distance from our main logistics centre, we may need to charge for collection for larger items or for multiple. However, this is at cost only.
